Behind the Stick

Broken hearted after a recent break up, Lauren Logan wants to bury her nose in a book and forget about the world. However, her best friend, a little too excited about Lauren giving her ex the boot wants to celebrate, and what better way than donning four leaf clovers on their cheeks and partaking in the annual St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl. Basically dragged against her will, Lauren finds an empty corner to read, but when a friendly guy with a gorgeous smile and the bluest eyes she’s ever seen approaches her, she realizes life outside of a book could be just as exciting.

Gavin Mills lives in the shadows of his twin brother’s success by choice. He refuses to become another zombie in a suit, preferring to live a simple life filled with fun and free of restrictions. On St. Patrick’s Day, his favorite holiday of the year, he is drawn to the girl in the corner who has her nose shoved into a book. Unable to accept that anyone would let life happen without them he sets out to show Lauren a day she’ll never forget.

From one bar to the next, Lauren sheds her inhibitions, singing and dancing along with the crowds, taking Gavin’s advice along the way. But when the night comes to an end will they part ways or take a chance on each other?
